The mind behind the design
Hi, I'm Lee.
A Miami Native. A Plant Lover.
A Landscape Designer for 35 Years.
Landscape design started at home for me. I was born on Homestead Air Force Base to a military father, but it was my mother's love of flowers, orchids, and plants that planted the first seed. As a kid stationed in Italy, I fell for the forests in the mountains and the culture, art, and history of a country that taught me how to see.
I came back to South Florida in 1980, when Coconut Grove was truly an artist's playground. I worked alongside one of the region's most prolific landscape architects, and on the personal homes that came with that connection. Eventually I found my place with what was, at the time, the smartest team in South Florida. From West Palm Beach to Ocean Reef to Key West, we shaped exclusive residential properties, with commercial projects woven in between.

Lee studies the masters.
Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo. Names Lee returns to on regular visits to MoMA, the Met, and the Guggenheim. Color, composition, restraint. All of it finds its way into the garden.
